Jane Breskin Zalben’s latest book, Mousterpiece: A mouse-sized guide to modern art is … a terrific springboard for aspiring young artists everywhere. (School Library Journal). Zalben, an author/artist of over fifty books, will present a multi-media presentation about creating picture books for children, read from her book, and entertain questions from family members in the audience. A book sale and signing will be held in front of the Barnes Shop after the talk. This inaugural ArtSee Author event is offered in partnership the Children’s Department of the Parkway Central Library who will host Jane Breskin Zalben on Monday, May 20 in the as part of the Margaret S. Halloran Family Literacy Programming series.
